Need Mindset Tools for this Wild Ride?

, ,

Here we are at Thanksgiving once again. I feel as if I have been on Toad’s Wild Ride. The year has flown by so fast. At the same time, I swear it has been a decade in the making! Right? Do you feel that way?

I think everyone can agree that the pace of life and the speed of change have increased exponentially. Both in the legal field itself as well as our world generally. Fast paced change is the norm now. That means increasing levels of on-going stress and anxiety. Time to determine how best to support your resilience and long term success.

How are you?

Check in for a moment on you.

How have you faired with your life and practice? What would you like to be different for next year? What really needs to change? Start pondering that question and allow yourself to dream a bit.

Now is the time to make your change plans. How will you make next year better for you?

Schedule a time to talk about what is possible.

  • Have you had a good year?
  • Did you reach your goals professionally?
  • Make your hours and receivables targets?
  • Did you take time for you and your loves?

You control your life. You cannot control the external “Wild Ride”. All of us can only learn better coping practices. What I hope you remember to do is to take time for yourself and your loved ones. In times of big changes, we all need extra grounding. Time spent in what (or with who) is most important to us.

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the time with your family and those who mean the most to you. That includes you, by the way. I will be with family in the Sequoia National Park. We love the big trees and mountains. It will be a time for gratitude, reflection, fun and recharge. I wish you the same and many blessing.
